The original home of "Fairvue" was built in the 1830's. Much of the historic beauty of the home has been restored by the current owner. Construction details from the original construction period have been followed in the restoration of the Fairvue Mansion.
Surrounded by Old Hickory lake, the home has two front doors. The view from one side of the home was just as breath taking as the "back" of the home, so the original construction called for two "front entrances" rather than a front and a back.
